Middle School students had a chance to have lunch with Mrs. Kelli Thomas to learn about career pathways in medicine. Kelli is a 2012 graduate of James A. Garfield and will graduate in May from NEOMED as a medical doctor. Kelli shared what students can do throughout high school to prepare for the medical pathway. Students were encouraged to seek job shadowing experiences and volunteer in order to learn more about the opportunities in medicine.
The career lunch bunch program is a new program to help students learn about various career pathways. If you are willing to share your career path with students, please call the middle school office.
