The Middle School art classes at James A Garfield this term showed their support for our military personnel by creating handmade Valentine cards to send to active military members through Carlson Funeral Home and their partnership with Valentines for the Troops. Students wrote words of encouragement and support on cards that they designed to send to those who will not be able to be with their loved ones this Valentine's Day. Cards were themed with hearts and Valentine images as well as those of a more patriotic nature.
