In a packed James A. Garfield Middle School gym, the 8th grade girls volleyball team faced their fiercest opponent yet: the Lab Rats, a team of staff members determined to give the students a memorable challenge. After an impressive regular season, the Lady G-Men went head-to-head with the teachers in a spirited game that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats.
The atmosphere was electric, with set one filled with intense rallies and quick shifts in momentum. As the Lab Rats pulled ahead, students in the crowd used JAGcoins to buy "rat traps," playful restrictions that held the Lady G-Men in their spots, adding to the game’s lighthearted energy. The crowd roared with laughter and excitement as the staff team maneuvered their way through each point, leveraging the traps to their advantage.
In the end, the Lab Rats claimed victory, showcasing teamwork, humor, and sportsmanship throughout. The event was a fun and unforgettable experience, bringing students and staff together in a celebration of community spirit and friendly competition!
