We are excited to inform you that our 8th-grade students will be embarking on an educational adventure to Maplewood Career Center on Thursday, November 30th. This field trip is a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore the diverse programs offered to James A. Garfield Students beginning their Junior and Senior year.
Details of the Field Trip:
- Date: Thursday, November 30th
- Destination: Maplewood Career Center
- Departure Time: After Middle School Lunch
- Return Time: Approximately 2:00 pm
Students will have the extraordinary opportunity to explore a wide array of career paths, including HVAC, criminal justice, culinary arts, auto collision and repair, welding, dental hygiene, veterinary care, cosmetology, robotics, business management, lawn care, small engine repair, machining, and much more. This hands-on exposure to diverse vocational programs aims to ignite curiosity and passion in our students, fostering a deeper understanding of potential career choices and empowering them to make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.
