Last day

Just when you thought you were about to taste the sweet freedom of summer... we’ve got news:

The last day of school is now MONDAY, JUNE 2, 2025.

Why? Because this “brutal” winter we all complained about was actually statistically average. I know—it felt worse. But after a few years of mild winters, even a little frostbite feels personal. We used six calamity days—one more than we plan for—so we owe the calendar a make-up day with students.

That means we get to keep your kids for just one more day. You’re welcome. We’ll spend it wrapping up the year, collecting overdue books, and pretending to do real work while watching the countdown clock like it’s New Year’s Eve.

And let’s be honest—as we near spring break and the daffodils are popping, I think we can safely say: we’re probably not getting another snow day. But hey, it’s Ohio. So now that I’ve said that out loud, cue the surprise April blizzard.

We truly appreciate your understanding and flexibility this year. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to me. Otherwise, enjoy every second of summer starting June 3rd—and may the snack cabinet be ever in your favor.

Go G-Men—and bring on the sunshine (and maybe a nap)! 🌞
