Lyndsey Johns ('19) was one of a record 45 student-athletes across Hiram College's eight North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) sponsored sports and 14 teams named to the 2020-21 NCAC Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
To be honored, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore on an active roster in a sport sponsored by the conference, and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher.
Hiram baseball led all Terrier teams with 14 honorees, while the sophomore class placed the most student-athletes on the honor roll with a class-high 20.
The 45 total student-athletes breaks the previous high of 41 Terrier student-athletes, set back in 2016-17.
Across the conference, a record 1,123 student-athletes were named to the 2020-21 NCAC Academic Honor Roll, accounting for 1,299 total roster spots, taking into consideration multi-sport student-athletes.
The 2020-21 NCAC Academic Honor Roll class features four graduate students, 286 seniors, 375 juniors and 468 sophomores.
Congratulations Lindsey! JAG Nation is very proud of you!
