Update March 12, 2020 - 5:00 PM
By now I am sure you have heard that the impact of the coronavirus has hit very close to home. Today, Governor DeWine ordered schools be closed after the end of school on Monday.
To prepare for this, our schools will be closed for students on Friday, March 13 so our teachers can prepare alternative learning plans for our students. Maplewood will be in session tomorrow and we will pick up at our designated group pickups
Students will return for a regular day of school on Monday. During this time, they can pick up any required resources, and learn how these activities should be completed. The learning activities will be posted on the district website Monday evening. After school closes on Monday, March 16, our campus will be closed for all activities until Monday, April 6.
There is no doubt we are in unprecedented times. Our entire staff is demonstrating great flexibility and effort. We appreciate your patience and understanding. We will continue to communicate with you as information becomes available.
Have a great night. Please be safe!
Attached you will find a letter from the Portage County Health Department regarding the virus.
