BW

Elisha Bly ('17) was among more than 660 students who earned named scholarships at Baldwin Wallace University this fall. Bly, a 2017 graduate of James A. Garfield High School majoring in biology and environmental science, earned the Lloyd & Mildred Hoffman Scholarship.

BW has a long history of scholarship support from alumni, faculty, trustees and friends. Over 400 named scholarships provide more than $3 million to help students attend, persist and graduate from BW. In addition, they carry on the donors' legacies through the lives of the students who receive their support. The scholarships vary in their requirements, with many specifying financial need, a course of study, involvement on campus or a commitment to excellence in a particular field.

BW grants a wide range of scholarships to current students each year. Including named, merit and need-based scholarships, BW students received over $57 million in financial support from the University for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Congratulations to Elisha and her family on this outstanding accomplishment!  Thank you for making JAG Nation proud!
